I am Lu,  a Storyteller, a Designer, and a Maker

My design journey began with my grandmother. When she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, I saw how much our surroundings affect comfort, emotion, and memory. That experience changed the way I see space. It made me want to create environments that feel safe, joyful, and welcoming to everyone.

I’m an experiential designer who turns stories into spaces people can walk through, interact with, and remember. Whether it’s a playful pop-up for families or an exhibition that sparks reflection, I design with empathy and curiosity at the center.

I’ve worked with brands like Netflix, AMC Theatres, BuzzFeed, and Universal Pictures to bring immersive experiences to life. Each project has helped me sharpen my skills in storytelling, creative direction, and large-scale production.

I use tools like AutoCAD, Rhino, Unreal Engine, TwinMotion, and Adobe Creative Suite to bring ideas from sketch to reality. I’m just as comfortable creating technical drawings as I am developing concept art and 3D mockups.

For me, design is about connection. I care deeply about accessibility and inclusivity, especially for families and seniors. My goal is always to create spaces that make people feel something real and leave with a sense of joy, care, or wonder.

I am a dreamer, a storyteller, a designer, and a maker
