The Omakase-style Taiwanese restaurant recently opened a new location in the 626 area of LA.

Kato is a sophisticated Taiwanese restaurant with Japanese culinary influences. It is a collaborative effort with Chef Jon Yao, who shares his cherished childhood dishes and creates a dining environment reminiscent of home. The design of the space includes a welcoming kitchen, a cozy and familiar living room lounge, and a comfortable dining area, all meant to evoke a sense of being at home.

With Kato, we intend to provide a place where people who are away from their homes can find comfort and a sense of belonging in Los Angeles.
